-5 - Optibeam
Jan 2005, after a
look at my quad, I found some problem, ( it was on the tower from 1992)
and needed a hard work to make a restyling, so I begane to change 'them', I was much doubtful
about the model of antenna to choose, therefore after a long search I have found
obtibeam web page, I liked it immediatly, so I found several users comments
on the web, all said the OB were great antennas, and so finally
I ordered the new antenna: the OB11-5

The
first work was a new tower: a prosistel 12 mt. high, a real titanic work,
but with i2djx and iz2fdy help and some other external force the tower growed
up... |

spended a lot of day in mounting, but at the last I had a graeat result (not
only photografic!!)

On the top of OB11-5 I put a 4
element yagi (by i2adn), but after about one year I decided to take apart it
and I found that the rendering of the antenna is improved on warc band, but
now I am searching on my roof a space to install a new tower or something
like it to put the antenna for magic band, and during the the first month of
2007 I hope to be able to do it!

avevo monatato una 4 elementi per i 50MHz by I2ADN ma dopo circa un anno
decisi di spostarla migliorando il rendimanto della mia OB soprattutto sulle
bande WARC
